They provide a daily reminder as to what is important in life. One of our favorite reminders is, "What I do today is important because I am exchanging a day of my life for it." Reading a quote can sometimes inspire us to learn more about the author and read more of their writings. Some of the best books we have read have been a result of reading one of the quotes by that particular author. For example when looking for baby boy names we found quotes that inspired us.
